I grew up in the eighty's it was when Madonna, Cindy Lopper, George Micheal, Pat Bennettar and Rap was started. It was my wonder years, I remember two tone jeans, Micheal Jackson leather jacket, boots with frills, sneakers with rainbow poca dots, lace leggings, Denim Jackets, everything Neon, Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans, head bands, and Sooooo much more.
When the kids ask me who I was going to dress up as, I would say a name and (ready for this) they would say WHO?
How humbling, to discover you have just become the 80's encyclopedia of pop culture :)
